Police say suspect in Canton burglary may be tied to 20 similar cases in Washtenaw, Wayne counties
An Ypsilanti man was arrested early Thursday morning after burglarizing a Canton nail salon, authorities said. And other police agencies are investigating him for possible involvement in other recent break-ins.
Canton Police Sgt. David Schreiner said a witness "saw some suspicious activity" and reported it to Canton police about 1 a.m. Thursday. The suspect was discovered by officers inside Tic Tac Nails, 42587 Ford Road, and was arrested.
A big screen TV from the business was found in his car, Schreiner said.
Schreiner said other agencies in western Wayne County and Washtenaw County are investigating the man and others he associated with in as many as 20 other breaking and entering cases.
The man is charged with breaking and entering, possession of stolen property and larceny in a building in Canton. His name was not immediately available.

I somehow suspect this will turn out to be some kind of ADDICTION to a SUBSTANCE of ILLEGAL nature!
