Williams' friend, Wayne William Rankin, 25, of Ypsilanti, also faces a first-degree criminal sexual conduct charge. Rankin was arraigned Saturday after turning himself in to police Friday.

Police say the two men met two girls, ages 15 and 14, on a bus last week. The men are accused of taking the girls to a hotel on Washtenaw Avenue in Ann Arbor Wednesday night.

The 15-year-old girl told police Thursday night she "woke up" in Ypsilanti near Washtenaw Avenue and North Mansfield Street after being sexually assaulted by at least one of the men. Police are investigating to determine whether the girl was drugged.

The 14-year-old girl went missing sometime after 5 p.m. Thursday, and police issued an Amber Alert Friday. She was found Saturday when she showed up unharmed at the Eastern Michigan University Department of Public Safety.

Rankin and Williams are scheduled to return to court for preliminary hearings Feb. 17.
