Ypsilanti police are trying to identify this man.

Ypsilanti police hope someone will recognize the composite sketch released today of a man who robbed four people at gunpoint on a downtown street earlier this month.

Police said the man pictured in the sketch and an accomplice followed four people to their car in the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority lot at about 2 a.m. Nov. 8. The man pulled out a handgun and robbed the others of three cell phones and cash.

A police tracking dog was unable to locate the robbers.

The man pictured in the sketch was described as black, in his mid- to late 30s, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a dark complexion, and had a full salt and pepper beard.

The accomplice was described as black, mid- to late 20s, with a thin build and long face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Ypsilanti Police Detective Jason Cyrbok at 734-482-9872.
