By Kyle Feldscher

Ypsilanti Public Schools Superintendent Dedrick Martin received a vote of confidence from the Board of Education with a positive evaluation approved at Monday night's meeting.

Out of a possible five points overall, Martin was given a 3.9 — nearly halfway between “met expectations” and “exceeded expectations.”

Congratulations. I wish you and David Hoyle all the success in getting the district's budget back on track. It is with your diligence that it will happen.
