Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies said Rucker, who was heavily intoxicated, showed up at an apartment in the 8800 block of MacArthur Boulevard Saturday looking for a woman he dated in the past who wasn't home.

Rucker is accused of pouring bleach inside the apartment and assaulting a woman who attempted to intervene. She suffered minor injuries, police said.

Rucker later showed up at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital with non life-threatening injuries he suffered at another location, but it's not clear how he was injured, reports said. Deputies say he assaulted medical personnel while receiving treatment.

Rucker will next appear in court May 11.

This fine, young, gentleman was able to remain out of prison for just over a year and a half. I think he should be commended. Looks like rehabilitation is the answer.

Got to wonder about a guy who can't scrape up $2500 to get out of jail. None of his family or friends want a piece of that? Seems like intoxication and attempted arson are just the tip of the iceberg.
