Cellphones stolen during break-in at Ypsilanti Township Radio Shack
Numerous cellphones were stolen during a burglary at an Ypsilanti Township Radio Shack Tuesday morning, and deputies are searching for the person who broke into the store.
Deputies went to the store at 2453 Ellsworth Road at 6 a.m. Tuesday after an alarm went off, the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office said in a media summary. When they arrived, they found the front door to the business open and the interior lights were. During a search of the building, deputies discovered whoever broke into the store stole a large number of cellphones.
No suspect information was released by the sheriff’s office Wednesday. Deputies continue to investigate the burglary.
A representative at store directed questions about the incident to the company’s corporate media representatives.
Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to call the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office anonymous tip line at 734-973-7711 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP (773-2587).

A2Westsider- According to AP style, which is a journalist's gospel essentially, cellphone is one word now. It's taken some getting used to.
