A man robbed the PNC Bank in Ypsilanti Township on Wednesday afternoon, passing a note to a teller that implied that he had a weapon and leaving with an unknown amount of cash.

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Derrick Jackson said police are looking for a white man, about 5-feet-5 inches tall with thin build, wearing a black hat, long winter coat, jeans and athletic shoes.

The man robbed the bank at about 2:40 p.m. Wednesday at 2140 Rawsonville Road, Jackson said.

He was last seen on foot heading toward the Rawsonville and Grove Road area, Jackson said.

No weapon was ever seen during the incident and no one was injured in the robbery.

Deputies are still investigating the incident, Jackson said.
