Sheriff’s Office spokesman Derrick Jackson said Murphy-Ellerson was convicted on two counts of assault with intent to murder, two counts of assault with intent to do bodily harm less than murder, possession of a loaded firearm, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, felony possession of a firearm, discharging a firearm at a building and carrying a concealed weapon.
The charges stemmed from a shooting at 3 a.m. Dec. 1 in the 1500 block of Harry Street. Deputies reported a man standing outside the home was shot during a drive-by. The 28-year-old suffered one wound to the leg and was treated at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
Murphy-Ellerson is expected to receive a sentence of more than 10 years in prison, Jackson said.

Since they have no telephones at the courthouse, what with the budget cutbacks, I guess it's necessary to quote the Sheriff's Department about actions of the court. When do the sheriffs say the fish will be biting on the Huron River?

Quite the "man." Cannot meet his adversary face-to-face to resolve differences. Ten years in prison is not enough for this subject.

The thug wouldn't need health insurance the VICTIM would.
