Man robbed at gunpoint on Emmet Street in Ypsilanti, police say
An Ypsilanti man was robbed at gunpoint this morning in the 400 block of Emmet Street, Ypsilanti police said.
The 21-year-old victim was approached from behind at 2:05 a.m. by a man with a handgun who threatened him and demanded his property, a police news release said.
The victim's wallet, cell phone and ID were taken by the man who left in a white 1990s model sport utility vehicle, the release said. Police say the victim was not injured.
According to police, the suspect was described as black, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 150 to 180 pounds. He is in his 20s to 30s and was wearing black clothing with a black hat.

I am just thakful the victim was not injured. Where or where is anyone safe anymore? So sad what this world has come to anymore.
