Mitt Romney's campaign plane parked at Willow Run airport
Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney's campaign jet has returned home to Willow Run airport, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Mitt Romney's plane has returned to Michigan and is being kept at Willow Run airport.
The plane, along with another used by Romney's running mate, U.S. Rep Paul Ryan, were leased from USA Jet. USA Jet is a cargo company headquartered at the airport, the newspaper reported. The company operates on-demand air charter passenger and freight flights.
The airport is located in Wayne County's Van Buren Township, just east of the Washtenaw County line.

Doesn't matter Southy. The firm is using a publicly owned and operated facility. But, as we know, the gubment cannot create jobs, it is all Ponzi, and the gubment cannot run anything larger than a small ice cream store without ruining it. Why isn't the firm that Romney hired using a private airport? It HAS to be better and cheaper. Did Mitt build that airport? How much tax do you think Mitt pays in Wayne County to help fund the airport?

Obama's annual trillion dollar deficits are a disaster waiting to happen. Obama won the election. History will be kinder to Romney.

I suggest you consult an economics textbook to determine the consequences of eliminating overnight a nearly $2 trillion deficit, whether by raising taxes, cutting spending, or a combination of both. So, if by "liberal math" you mean an informed understanding of the economic consequences of government policy, yes, this is liberal math. And I guess that means that "conservative math" (or, for at matter, conservative anything) means and uninformed misunderstanding. Good luck with that. We can discuss this, too, if you like, when we meet Friday to discuss the documents that inform our understanding of the Constitution. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to the brilliant insights I know you'll bring.

army....You stated as a fact that the deficit has gone down it has not.I unlike you was not blaming anyone ( including Obama ) but you blame it all on Bush therefore it has gone down.A example of Liberal math is " we didn't loose as many jobs as last month or more than we expected therefore it's job growth " Another example of liberal math.A few years ago Democrats were saying the Republicans were cutting the school lunch program. The Republicans wanted a 3% increase BUT the Democrats wanted 7% increase. Now using liberal math that's a cut

What sacrifice are you willing to make to balance the federal budget, TOPCAT? Where were you when the last guy ran close to trillion dollar deficits annually and basically doubled our debt? Did you know that Reagan proved deficits don't matter?

Gotta love people who don't understand how the budget works. And as an aside, your link is proof that the so-called liberal media ain't. The link's opening statement is: "The National Debt has now increased more during Preisdent Obama's first three years and two months than it did during 8 years of the Bush presidency" That is a correct statement the either displays a massive ignorance of the budget process, or takes advantage of public ignorance, or (most likely) both. The FY 2009 budget, whose defict that statement counts against Obama, took effect on Oct. 1, 2008, six weeks before his election. He had little impact on that budget. The vast majority of its record $1.9 Trillion deficit belongs to Bush II. Obama's first fiscal year was FY 2010, and the deficit fell to $1.6 Trillion. In FY 2011 it fell to $1.3 Tillion. In FY 2012 it fell to $1.1 Trillion. The Projection for FY 2013 is for $.9 Trillion (worth noting the deficit fell more, both in real terms and as a % of the deficit, before the Tea Party victory in 2010, but that's what happens when rigid ideologues who don't understand government take office). You can, as they say, look it up.

Henry Ford built the factory in Washtenaw County because taxes were lower than in Wayne County. Wayne county got to tax only a strip of concrete.

Nick- our comander in chief should be grounded. He has no problem spending your tax dollars on his extensive traveling and campaigning, lavish vacations, spending like there is not tomorrow, and taking tax dollars and "creating" government jobs. Do you know what a ponzi scheme is? A GOVERNMENT JOB IS AN EXAMPLE OF A PONZI SCHEME. You take tax dollars from about 15 or more taxpayers and create one government job with great benefits. That government job creates tax revenue for one taxpayer/person. Is that sustainable? Not unless you raise taxes. Problem is that as you raise taxes more and more there is less and less money available to fuel the economy since disposable income is used to pay for government jobs. Why is this so hard to understand?

shh, we are not allowed to bring up the past. We are not allowed to bring up the costs run up by the people Mike voted for!!! Just look at the last few years, taxes have been at record lows and the economy is flush with cash and job creation...oh..wait..nope, the opposite is true. I never knew that the road I use or the school I attended were Ponzi Schemes. I guess the pilot is done with his temporary job now. Gosh darn temporary jobs!!

Those who criticize the cost of Obama's Christmas vacation don't want you to know that George W. Bush spent at least $20 million taxpayer dollars just on flights to his ranch in Crawford. The problem is that W. wasn't thrifty. He was the most expensive vacation president in US history. Not only did Bush spend more days on vacation than any other president, but he used Air Force One more often while on vacation than any other president. During Bush's two terms, the cost of operating Air Force One ranged from $56,800 to $68,000 an hour. Bush used Air Force One 77 times to go to his ranch in Crawford, TX. Using the low end cost of $56,800, Media Matters calculated that each trip to Crawford cost taxpayers $259,687 each time, and $20 million total for Bush's ranch flights. h ttp://www.politicususa.com/ cost-obama-christmas-vacation-bush.html

Mike you are so right about everything. Over 4 million on his current vacation when he hasn't even worked in the last four years.........what a deal. 109 rounds of golf must have worn him out. The only meetings he has attended lately was to put on a show like he actually works. Before that, he attended none of them. I just hope that people do not let Benghazi get blown in the wind and he has to account for it!
