Rebuild Ypsilanti hosting program on solar incentives Thursday

The organization Rebuild Ypsilanti is hosting the free program Solar for Your Building: The Incentives Add Up on Thursday.

Speakers will include:

Dave Strenski from Solar Ypsi, who will speak about solar electric systems;

Reyn Hendrickson from StarPak, who will speak about solar thermal systems; and

Julie Londo from DTE Energy, who will talk about the SolarCurrents incentive program.

The meeting will be held at the Whittaker Road Branch of the Ypsilanti Public Library, 5577 Whittaker Road, on Thursday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to noon.

People interested in attending should e-mail Joshua Brugeman as soon as possible.

Rebuild Ypsilanti is part of Rebuild Michigan, a network of community partnerships, made up of local organizations and businesses, that save money by saving energy.
