Resident discovers home ransacked; TV, computer stolen

By Cindy Heflin

An Ypsilanti Township resident returned home Wednesday afternoon to discover someone had ransacked the home and stolen a TV and a computer, police said.

The burglar or burglars appeared to have entered the home in the 200 block of Kirk Street through a ground-floor window, deputies with the Washtenaw county sheriff’s department said in a media summary.

The victim reported a 22-inch Philips LCD television and a Dell laptop computer were stolen.

Police had no information about possible suspects.
