Resident discovers home ransacked; TV, computer stolen
An Ypsilanti Township resident returned home Wednesday afternoon to discover someone had ransacked the home and stolen a TV and a computer, police said.
The burglar or burglars appeared to have entered the home in the 200 block of Kirk Street through a ground-floor window, deputies with the Washtenaw county sheriff’s department said in a media summary.
The victim reported a 22-inch Philips LCD television and a Dell laptop computer were stolen.
Police had no information about possible suspects.

What a shame that some folks can't keep their hands off of other people's property. Then you wonder what might have happened if the homeowner was at home. Loss of property remains, but no injuries to people in this case.
