Road closures expected Sunday in Ypsilanti Township for third annual Ride for Recovery

Motorists should be aware that several roads in Ypsilanti Township will be temporarily closed Sunday for the third annual Ride for Recovery event hosted by Dawn Farm.

The Washtenaw County Road Commission recently unanimously approved the temporary closures on portions of four roads: Stony Creek, Textile, Hitchingham and Merritt.

These road closures will take place from 9:45 to 11:45 a.m.:

Stony Creek Road from Merritt Road to Textile Road.

Textile Road from Stony Creek Road to Hitchingham Road.

Hitchingham Road from Textile Road to Merritt Road.

Merritt Road from Hitchingham Road to Stony Creek Road.
