Woman reports being inappropriately touched by stranger in Ypsilanti Township

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department is looking for a man suspected of groping a woman in Ypsilanti Township.

The woman told police a man approached her in the area of Huron Street and Interstate 94 about 2 p.m. Wednesday and touched her inappropriately without her consent. The man fled on a silver mountain bike, a media summary from the Sheriff's Department said.

The suspect is described as a 40-year-old white man with facial stubble, short sandy blond hair and blue eyes. He is about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a medium build.

A good pepper spray can resolve situations like this. I highly recommend maintaining situational awareness and carrying them. Be safe out there. 1*
