Video game equipment stolen from Willow Run Middle School

By Cindy Heflin

A thief or thieves took video game equipment and a digital camera from Willow Run Middle School in Ypsilanti Township earlier this week, the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office said.

The theft of one Nintendo Wii console, a Nintendo Game Cube console, 6 video games and a Kodak digital camera was discovered Wednesday morning. Staff members told deputies they believe the items were taken sometime during the past day from a classroom where they were stored at the school at 235 Spencer Lane, Ypsilanti Township.

Sheriff’s deputies are continuing to investigate. Further information was not immediately available.
