Wallets, laptop and change filched from Ypsilanti house
A thief or thieves snatched wallets, a laptop and change from an Ypsilanti home overnight Wednesday after removing a window screen, police said.
Ypsilanti police were called to the home in the 600 block of West Cross Street at 8:50 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release.
The victim told police that sometime between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday a suspect or suspects removed a screen from the kitchen window and entered the house.
Two wallets, a Dell laptop and loose change were taken.
Police continue to investigate.

I commend their experimenting with terminology. Keeps the news from getting too stale.
