Woman attempts to hit another woman with car, Ypsilanti police say
Ypsilanti police arrested a woman this morning they said attempted to hit another woman with a sport utility vehicle.
The 33-year-old Ypsilanti Township woman was arrested at about 12:30 a.m. after the incident in the 10 block of South Summit Street, police said in a news release.
She drove over a curb as she attempted to hit the 32-year-old Belleville woman, who was dating her ex-boyfriend, the release said.
According to police, she also damaged the victim's vehicle and her ex-boyfriend's vehicle. No one was injured. She was taken to the Washtenaw County Jail.
