Ypsilanti Jaycees, Lincoln Education Association to host candidate forum

The Lincoln Education Association along with the Ypsilanti Area Jaycees are co-sponsoring an upcoming Meet the Candidate Night for Lincoln Consolidated District voters.
There are five people seeking spots on the board of education: Joseph Washburn; Connie Marie Newlon; Bradley R. Labadie; Thomas Rollins; and Yoline Williams.
The forum will last about an hour and a half and there will be an opportunity for each candidate to answer about eight questions and meet with the public afterward.
The event is scheduled to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25 at the Lincoln Senior Center, at 8970 Whittaker Rd.
