Ypsilanti man wins $250,000 in Michigan lottery
Winning $250,000 was just part of a recent lucky day for an Ypsilanti man, according to Michigan Lottery officials.
From Michigan Lottery
Rojelio Reyes accepted his winning check from a Mega Millions drawing in Lansing on May 16.
The day he won, he learned that his daughter had been accepted into a master's degree program — and that his son was celebrating a surprise marriage.
Reyes matched five numbers on his Mega Millions ticket, but lottery officials did not disclose those lucky numbers in a recent release.
Now Reyes and his wife are deciding what to do with their winnings.
"We will pay bills and help with college costs," he said in a news release. A vacation cruise may be in their future, too.
The winning ticket was sold at Willow Run Liquor located at 49365 S Interstate 94 Service Drive in Belleville.
The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday, when there will be an estimated jackpot of $12 million.

Uhm, it is pretty easy to find out what the winning numbers are.

Point taken. Another interesting tidbit would be if the numbers were picked by Mr. Reyes or if he went with easy pick.

Yes, but I didn't have the date of the game he won at the time I wrote this. Sorry that wasn't clear.

Luck? The rewards of the Reyeses' orderly and industrious family life are far greater than any lottery check. Nonetheless, congratulations to them!
