Ypsilanti police investigate two burglaries

By Lee Higgins

Ypsilanti police are investigating two burglaries reported Wednesday.

At 5 p.m., a woman reported that she returned to her home in the 1200 block of Sherman Street to find that it had been ransacked and jewelry was missing, a crime summary said.

Three hours earlier, televisions, karaoke equipment and other items were reported stolen during a break-in at a home in the 100 block of South Grove Street. So far, no arrests have been made in the burglaries.

Anyone with information can call police at (734) 483-9510.

There's a bigger story here that A2.com is missing. Might I suggest you do some digging? There are a lot more burglaries happening than just these two. Too bad we have to get our real news from Facebook.

Rule of thumb, aa.com. If its a police blotter item that would never make the front A2 page, then its not front page material for Ypsilanti's front page either. Stop being so lazy. Find news and report it. Its your job. Plants of news in Ypsilanti if you ask around. Blotter items are not front page news, and as they ares copied from a police log, are also not original works to be attributed to your writers.
