Ypsilanti woman reports acquaintance sexually assaulted her
A 23-year-old Ypsilanti woman reported being sexually assaulted by an acquaintance at her home in the 300 block of Jarvis Street early Thursday morning, Ypsilanti police said.
The woman had been dropped off at her home following a party, and a 21-year-old man came over to her home a short time after that, Ypsilanti police said in a press release.
“Initial investigation shows a sexual assault may have occurred,” police said, and the woman was sent to a local hospital for treatment.
The man is still at large and the investigation is on going, according to police.

"... assaulted by an acquaintance....." "Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers..." might it not help to give a name to the suspect? Assuming the victim knows his name. Maybe an acquaintance could help out if they knew the police were looking. .
