Oral history project seeks to preserve Ann Arbor Farmers Market memories

By Cindy Heflin

An interesting article in the Ann Arbor Chronicle features an oral history project at the Farmers Market.

The project was launched over the summer in conjunction with the market's 90th anniversary, the article says. The booth operates 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every other Wednesday at the market and will be open today.

Market manager Molly Notarianni told the Chronicle she wants to record stories from every market vendor and any interested shoppers. “Everyone has a different story, whether it’s how they became a farmer, why they decided to start selling at the market, or about the relationships they’ve developed,” she said.
