Welcome to this week's installment of Friday Pet Blogging! Here is a gallery of photos that readers submitted of their pets this week.

To see names and hometowns, doubleclick on the slideshow and view it on Flickr.

To participate in Friday Pet Blogging and enter the contest, e-mail a new photo of your fuzzy friend anytime during the week to pets@annarbor.com. Please include the animal's name, age, and city or township of residence in the e-mail. Make sure the photo is at least 600 pixels wide and in jpg format.

We compile the week's photos into a slideshow, which we publish and promote on Fridays here in the Pets section. Each submission will be assigned a number, and we will hold a random drawing after the new gallery is published. Winners will be announced on Mondays.

Contest limit one entry per household per week, and one win per household per year.
