Dog 'encourages' cat to go indoors in a unique way
Despite its challenges, having a multiple pet household can be done successfully no matter the species.
Households with two or more pets are always interesting. I frequently hear funny (and sometimes not-so-funny) accounts of dogs, cats, birds and other companion animals co-existing under the same roof. Having a trio of pets here at home, I have a few stories of my own.
Surely you can relate.
The idea of life with several animals reminds me of stories that my Dad, who recently passed away, told me over the years from his childhood. One in particular always made me laugh: the brood of chickens that the family kept — along with any cats that were awake and usually the dog — would line up along the driveway and wait for my grandfather to arrive home from work each evening. They all got along really well.
One family somewhere in eastern Europe has a couple of pets to seem to have a unique relationship: an uncooperative cat and a dog with a can-do attitude. The cat doesn't seem to want to go indoors, but the dog won't hear of it. The pooch offers their encouragement, and their human backs them up.

"Fetching cat from outside" better describes what the dog did than "encouraging cat to go inside, in a unique way." The latter gave me the impression that the cat went in, but the dog stayed out. A dog carrying a cat. That description would draw the most hits, to see just how DID the dog do it? NOT with its mouth!
