'Bailey' the Golden Retriever loves listening to live guitar

By Lorrie Shaw

Pop singer Rihanna isn't the only one saying 'Don't Stop The Music': a dog who has a penchant for listening to groovy licks feels the same way.

Drew Arcoleo was visiting a friend, and, as he played his guitar, he noticed that Bailey, a Golden Retriever who is owned by the friend, was all ears.

"I was just hanging out in one of my friend's basement playing guitar, and I noticed that his dog kind of did something funny when I started and stopped playing," says Arcoleo, a student at the University of Connecticut.

"So, I pulled out my iPhone, recorded it and threw it up on YouTube on a whim."

Goldens, as these beautiful dogs are popularly referred to, are famous for their expressiveness and Bailey is no exception. She definitely seems to know what she likes.

Have a look.

Dogs will sing to a high pitch or something that just makes them want to sing. Our child was rehearsing for choir when our dog decided to join in and started doing a howling thing. Wish I had that on video. What a moment.
