Liberty is one of three Schnauzer/Pit Bull mix puppies that came from a home that had too many pets. She is the only girl left from a litter of six. Luckily three of the puppies have already found caring homes.

The Humane Society of Huron Valley gets lots of puppies - purebred and mixes. In fact, a quarter of all the dogs and puppies found in our shelter are purebred. If you have been looking for a bundle of puppy love to share your home with, please consider adopting a puppy first. Visit www.hshv.org to get daily updates on new arrivals. Our website is updated as soon as a new pet becomes available for adoption.

Liberty is playful and affectionate and adorable! She likes to be held and petted, but she also loves to bounce around the room and play. Liberty will need puppy training so she can learn her basic manners and potty training. HSHV offers affordable puppy and dog training for your convenience.

Every animal that is adopted from HSHV has a health examination, is behavior tested, spayed/neutered, given their first vaccinations, and have a microchip I.D. all included in one low adoption fee. HSHV runs various adoption specials. Right now, every Wednesday at HSHV is 1/2 OFF ADOPTION WEDNESDAYS. Every pet available for adoption is 1/2 off.

HSHV is open daily from noon to 6 p.m. for adoptions. The Humane Society of Huron Valley has a full service, low-cost veterinary clinic that is open to the public. To schedule an appointment for your pet, please call 734-662-4365. For more information on all of the adoptable pets, visit http://www.hshv.org or call 734-662-5585.
