Patsy is a 10-year-old senior black lab, but don't let her gray muzzle fool you - Patsy still loves life to the fullest!

She enjoys going for short walks and lying in the sunshine. Patsy is a good companion and is content hanging out with her family or her pet friends. Patsy gets along very well with other dogs and cats. She is always up for taking a nap with you on the couch, or lounging outside on the deck. This lovely dog is not much work at all - she just needs affection and care, and she would be forever grateful to her new family for giving her a home of her very own.

Patsy was brought to the Humane Society of Huron Valley by the police as a stray. We know this wonderful dog had to be someone’s pet but her family was never located. Patsy needed some dental work done so that her mouth could feel better, so although she is short a couple of teeth, she can eat food without any pain. She does love a good treat!

Patsy is part of our "Diamonds in the Ruff" program, which means her adoption fee is at a lower rate because she is an older gal with a few age-related issues - nothing too big though. Patsy is in one of our foster homes taking a break from the shelter but it's very easy to arrange a visit with her. For information on adopting or meeting Patsy, you can contact her foster mom at pattimaki@aol.com or e-mail us at fosters@hshv.org.
