Mr. Hand is so named because he uses his paw for everything, including pawing people for petting (see his video).

He's a persistent feline who simply will not take "no" for an answer. This 3-year-old orange and white tabby cat is affectionate, playful and extremely handsome! He is currently residing in one of the community cat rooms at the Humane Society of Huron Valley and is often found curled up next to one of his cat buddies taking a nap.

If you have been looking for an adult cat to fit into your family, Mr. Hand has it all. He likes other animals, he is very social, and he’s also a lover who is happiest being around the people in his household.

If it sounds like I’d enjoy Mr. Hand at my own home, I must confess, I do love him, but like most people who work at the Humane Society of Huron Valley, I am at my limit for the number of pets I can care for. Hopefully the right person will read about Mr. Hand and give him a forever home very soon.

Oh, and one other exciting thing about Mr. Hand is his affection for treats. He may in fact be one of those cats that can learn tricks and perform them on command as long as the treat jar is in his sight. You can visit this laid-back cat any day from noon to 6 p.m. because HSHV is open every day for adoptions.

The Humane Society of Huron Valley is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving all of Washtenaw County, Canton, and Plymouth, and relies solely on donations from businesses and individuals to support our community programs. The mission of HSHV is to promote responsible and compassionate care of all animals in our community.
