Pet Photo Friday: 15 minutes of furry fame

By Lorrie Shaw

We invite our readers to interact here on the pets section any chance we get, and one thing is evident: people are passionate about their pets. And as we see at the end of each week, they like to show off their cute pet photos!

It's always fun to see what our readers lives are like with their own pets and other animals, and there are always interesting stories to tell.

Staying warm and comfortable seems to be the order of the week, and you'll see a dog settling in for movie time and a curious cat gazing into a mirror, among other pets.

Next week's theme: "kids behind the lens." Children have a unique vantage point of life, and that comes through exceptionally well when they get a hold of a camera. We want to see your pets through the eyes of your youngster!

Photo submissions for next week's slideshow are being accepted, and participating in our weekly photo blog is easy! Simply email a photo of your pet that your child has captured, along with their name and age along with the age of your pet to ppsa2mi@gmail.com any time for our weekly Pet Photo Friday feature.

Be sure to include the city or township of residence in your email. Photos should be 1200 pixels wide and in .jpg format.

We put the week's photos into a slideshow, publish and promote each Friday here in the Pets section.

I'm generally a dog person, but "cat in a basket" made me laugh!
