Pet Photo Friday: Cuteness overload
"This is Angel, our 8 year old lab-retriever mix. We have had her since she was a puppy. She is 72 lbs of dog, but thinks she is a lap dog. Our life wouldn't be the same without her. She is a very important part of our family of five. In the picture with her is her special stuffed animal that she carries around with her." by Cheri Richmond

"Cedric is about eight years old and is reasonably healthy. Unlike other dogs, he’s not into exercise very much, but he does like his rides. He can’t drive any more, but he insists on having the front passenger seat whenever possible. Photo taken en route to South Dakota on a recent hunting trip and he was forced to take a back seat. Cedric advises, “Pheasant Hunting is my life.” Cedric lives in Saline with his Mom & Dad." by Al Houghton /calendar/photologue/photos/cache/cedric_fullsize.JPG

"This is my little darling boy "Kuro".. it means black in Japanese. I found him on the side of a busy highway. It was as if he chose me because I was standing with a group of friends and he came and stood behind me mewling away as if asking me to take him home. He is such a brave little boy and gets along so well with his big sister milly and my three doggies. He wasnt scared of them from day one which was amazing. I love him to pieces and he is a kind, gentle cat." /calendar/photologue/photos/cache/kuro3_fullsize.JPG

"Rescued from dog fighting ring. Although their faces are horribly scarred and not easy to look at you can still see the unconditional love shining through……. OK Got “ Linkoln” (lighter colored) in November. He was great but seemed to really want someone else to keep him company so we picked out “Nox Moody” (smaller darker markings). Is one of the best moves I have ever made!" by Chris Carroll /calendar/photologue/photos/cache/noxlinklon_fullsize.JPG

We invite our readers to interact here on the pets section any chance we get, and one thing is evident: People are passionate about their companion animals, no matter what breed they are. And as we see at the end of each week, they like to show off their cute pet photos!
It's always fun to see what our readers' lives are like with their own pets and other animals, and there are always interesting stories to tell.
This week, you'll see all sorts of cute pets, including a senior dog who loves the dog park and an English bulldog who has a serious pout.
It's all in good fun!
Participating in our weekly photo blog is easy — simply email a photo of your pet to ppsa2mi@gmail.com any time for our weekly Pet Photo Friday feature.
Be sure to include the name of the animal(s), as well as their age and city or township of residence in your email. Photos should be 1,200 pixels wide and in .jpg format.
We put the week's photos into a slideshow, publish and promote each Friday here in the Pets section.
Lorrie Shaw leads the pets section for AnnArbor.com. You can follow her daily pet adventures on Twitter and subscribe to AnnArbor.com's email newsletters.
