Meet the perfectly paired pooches Ken & Barbie the AnnArbor.com Pets of the Week
Barbie and Ken came to the Humane Society of Huron Valley with a large group of more than 45 small dogs in January of 2013 from a hoarding situation. Most of the dogs have found new homes, but it’s been a bit harder to find a family who can open their heart and home to a pair of pups that must stay together.
Barbie and Ken are wonderful dogs, but due to neglectful conditions in their past life, they did not get quite the right amount of socialization and training needed. Barbie and Ken, however, have grown a lot in our care and are already learning how to walk on a leash and how to enjoy being lap dogs!
Since this pair have relied so much on the comfort of each other so far in their life, they must stay together. If you have a big heart, patience, and can provide TLC to good-natured dogs that deserves a second chance, we hope you will come and meet Barbie and Ken today.
