An Ann Arbor breakfast (and lunch) tradition since 1956, Angelo's has been immortalized in a musical ode by singer-songwriter Dick Siegel that frequently graces Detroit airwaves. The family-run, diner-style restaurant is most famous for its fresh-baked bread (including French toast and raisin toast), homestyle eggs and bacon, and lines of hungry people waiting out the door. The adjoining bakery creates the popular bread and connects to Angelo's On the Side, a coffee-and-takeout addition to the original restaurant.
