A favorite student hangout, the Brown Jug has been a South University mainstay since 1938. The full bar offers a good selection of draft beers, and the menu covers a huge range of reasonably priced Greek and American dishes, including many sandwiches and burgers named after current and former Michigan coaches and athletes as well as the Jug's famous Jumbo Wings and "Uncle Pat's Pizza." Sidewalk dining is available in the summer.
HAPPY HOUR - Sun.-Tues, from open-10 p.m.; Wed.-Sat., from 7:30-10pm.
