A tiny spot in a corner location that was once a gas station, Maru's ambience is simple, but cozy. The restaurant offers a variety of Korean specialties, including six versions of bibimbap as well as tofu, rice rolls, steamed dumplings, noodle soups and stews. Traditional Korean condiments: potatoes, kimchi and seaweed, are part of the eating experience. Large, visually bright pictures of the food adorn the walls. The lunch box special provides a sufficient sampling of the menu items, all for under $10.00.
