If you're hankering for high quality American fare, in enormous portions, this is the place. Sidetrack is located in Ypsilanti's Depot Town, adjacent to train tracks. It's not unusual to hear the trains pass by as you eat. It's a loud, boisterous atmosphere, often crowded on weekend evenings, especially in the summer, when a large covered patio presents a perfect opportunity for al fresco dining. Don't miss the enormous beer battered onion rings and burgers. The menu also includes sandwiches, grilled chicken, chili, quesadillas, fish and chips and a BBQ rib plate, as well as desserts. All food is served until 2:00 a.m. There are a large variety of beers in bottles and on draft. Also Frenchie's, which is part of the Sidetrack, offers their facility to host and cater all special occasions.
