If you're looking for a quick, simple basic breakfast, served in an old-fashioned diner atmosphere downtown, The Broken Egg fits the bill. It's not fancy and doesn't have gourmet coffee drinks, but all the typical breakfast fare is there, including bacon, eggs, pancakes and French toast as well as lunch food, served at reasonable prices. It's got a down-home feel and attracts many regulars.
