The Salvation Army Angel Tree is filled with gift suggestions for the Families that they will serve this holiday. For example, there may be a tag for a four year old girl requesting a Barbie, or an eight year old boy wanting a Basketball. You would be able to select the age and gender and item of your choice to purchase, and attach the tag to the gift. The unwrapped gift could be dropped of to Briarwood Mall's iT store located next to Von Maur, or to the Salvation Army at 100 Arbana Drive in Ann Arbor. Items collected are then arranged in a store-like fashion for the parents of the families in need to be able to go and select items for their family's Christmas.

I don't know what these Angel Trees are. Are they simply trees located near the bell ringers and kettles or is it something else? Can annarbor.com give us a bit more information?
