Michigan football's turnovers mounting in losses; Michigan, Ohio State lead pursuit of Toledo DE and more

By Kaleb Roedel

Trusty turnover numbers don't lie.

Mark Snyder of the Detroit Free Press points out that "the Wolverines had surrendered only five turnovers and recovered nine in a 5-0 start."

He continues, "In the two losses, to Michigan State and Iowa the past two weeks, the Wolverines have turned the ball over seven times and recovered nine."

81wolverine, I think the fact UM has the worst defense in the country and the fact the current coaches will not be around will be more a factor than the location.

Theo...I believe there s a Lansing paper you can post on where people care. This our rag. Funny how they say M fans are arrogant. If one good season brings this out of mspew fans...just think how they'd act after 40 straight years of reloading, or if they had the biggest stadium or the best helmets or the greatest fight song or the all time highest winning %. Jeesh.

Theo your comments are sad. Look in the mirror before you make statements about MSU. They are doing it the right way and your King might be in the unemployment line soon.

Turnovers Happen.... when your finesse team goes in to conference play vs. bigger, tougher and faster opponents who can match up and beat your finesse scheme. WE are no longer playing out of conference patsies....or Indiana. Go Blue!!

I haven't found much on the kid yet but he sounds like he has big potential. He would be a big catch!

The recruiting battle for Wormley between Michigan and OSU down in Toledo is going to be a big one. He's supposed to be one of the top junior defensive ends in the country. I think being in Toledo (closer to AA than Columbus) and having his Mom on our side will be big factors - hopefully. It's too bad he isn't in the 2011 class though. We need help now!
