Concordia University hires Nathan Robbins as first football coach
Concordia University hired Nathan Robbins as its first ever football coach. Robbins will address the media and community at a press conference at 4 p.m on Thursday.
Concordia plans to compete as a club sport in 2010 and begin an intercollegiate schedule by 2011.
Robbins comes to Concordia from Dallas Lutheran School in Dallas, where he started football programs at both the middle school and high school level in 2003. He’s been the head coach, offensive coordinator and speed and strength coach at the school ever since. Prior to his time at Dallas Lutheran, Robbins was defensive coordinator and assistant speed and strength coach at Lutheran West High School in Cleveland for four years.
