"These go to eleven." A classic quote from the movie "Spinal Tap," and the current state of the Detroit Pistons losing streak, their longest in 16 years. A two-game road trip to Texas ended Wednesday night with a 112-92 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

And Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey left the game in the third quarter with a sore right knee, the Detroit News reports.

The Pistons tied the game at 77-77, but the Spurs answered with an 11-0 run.

• The San Antonio Express-News reports that former Piston and current Spur Antonio McDyess is not impressed by his ex-team. "You don't want to be that team," McDyess said. "The one that they win against."

• The Express-News has a slideshow from the Pistons-Spurs game.

"SPINAL TAP" SCENE

DETROIT RED WINGS: • Henrik Zetterberg and Dan Cleary will be back on the ice for the Red Wings in time for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Kings, Ansar Khan writes for MLive.com. Both have missed several games with shoulder injuries.

• More from MLive.com: The Red Wings sent forward Mattias Ritola to the Grand Rapids Griffins on Wednesday.

DETROIT LIONS: • Tom Kowalski, the Lions beat writer for MLive.com, offers 7 steps the Lions can take to reach .500 in the 2010 season. Among them: Have long off-season talks with Calvin Johnson and get him some help.

• Former Michigan offensive lineman Jeff Backus is the Lions best run blocker, according to coach Jim Schwartz, the Detroit Free Press reports.

• Last time I checked, nearly 5,000 people have voted in the Grand Rapids Press poll of "What grade does first-year Lions coach Jim Schwartz deserve?"

DETROIT TIGERS: • Left-hander Jarrod Washburn has an offer from the Minnesota Twins, CBSSports.com reports. Washburn, a 35-year-old starter, was 1-3 in 8 starts for the Detroit Tigers last season after coming to the team late in the year.

MORE NBA: • The NBA suspended Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas indefinitely after admitting he brought guns into the locker room, then joking about it after the news broke. Washington Post columnist Michael Wilbon says now a 28-year-old player has his career on hold because he didn't recognize how much trouble he created.

MORE BASEBALL: • Andre Dawson couldn't get in the Baseball Hall of Fame for years. Now he's in, and it's because voters are rejecting steroid-era players such as Mark McGwire, Chicago Sun-Times columnist Rick Morrissey writes.
