While prep sports continue to be sparse over the holiday break, at least those few events being played are densely scheduled.

Locally, Chelsea and Dexter high schools will host boys and girls basketball tournaments on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Other Washtenaw County teams are traveling for their holiday tournaments. The Ypsilanti and Father Gabriel Richard boys basketball teams are playing in the five-day Motor City Roundball Classic played at Detroit Country Day. The Huron girls team will play in Livonia Ladywood's tournament.
