Dexter grad Katie Marsh's late goal forces OT, but Eagles women's soccer falls to San Jose State

RENO, NEV -- Dexter High School alum Katie Marsh's first goal of the season for the Eastern Michigan University women's soccer team came in dramatic fashion on Thursday against San Jose State University.

Playing in the University of Nevada Wolf Pack Invitational, the Eagles trailed San Jose State 1-0, when Marsh equalized in the 89th minute, forcing the game into overtime.

San Jose State's Kayla Santacruz scored just 67 seconds into overtime to give her team the 2-1 win.

The Eagles (3-4-1) will play the host Wolf Pack Saturday. (EMUEagles.com story)
