Eastern and Concordia women's basketball teams win big at home

The Eastern Michigan women's basketball team won its fourth straight game with a 89-34 victory over Niagara on Tuesday. Niagara's 34 points was the lowest total for an NCAA Division I team in Convocation Center history.

Cassie Schrock was 6-of-7 from the field for the Eagles (9-4), and Tavelyn James was 6-of-12 as each scored 20 points. Niagara shot just 10-of-52 (19.2 percent) from the field while Eastern shot 44.9 percent. (EMUEagles.com Story)

MORE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL Concordia 90, Malone 58: Hannah Sabol led all scorers with 18 points, Brittany Simmons scored 17 and Marion Rodriguez had 12 as 11 players scored in the home win for the Cardinals (9-5). Kelly Cieslak had seven blocks.
