Eastern Michigan desperate to send seniors out with win over in-state rival
Western Michigan's football season hasn't exactly gone according to plan.
The Broncos were the preseason pick to win the Mid-American Conference's West Division, Western has compiled a 4-6 record and are 3-3 in the MAC.
And although the Broncos are 12-point favorites heading into Saturday's road test at Eastern Michigan (1 p.m., WEMU, 89.1-FM) they know Rynearson Stadium is a different place to play.
Western's last trip to Rynearson resulted in a 19-2 loss - the only game in Bill Cubit's tenure when the Broncos' offense hasn't registered any points.
In his weekly video preview, Kalamazoo Gazette Western Michigan beat writer breaks down Saturday's game, saying the Eagles (0-9, 0-5 MAC) could be dangerous as the Eagles look to give Ron English his first win at Eastern Michigan.
