Eastern Michigan women's basketball wins fifth straight
Sophomore guard Tavelyn James scored 24 points to lead the Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team to a 76-65 win over North Dakota State Monday at the Convocation Center.
The Eagles completed the non-conference portion of their schedule with a 10-2 record and have now won five straight games for the first time since the 2005-06 season.
Freshman forward Chenise Miller added 14 points and a team-high eight rebounds for the Eagles while junior guard Cassie Schrock added 11 points and six assists.
Whitney Ledger had 20 points and 13 rebounds for NDSU (3-12).
