Women's Basketball Takes Part in Ypsilanti P.R.I.D.E. Day image The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team was proud to give back to the Ypsilanti community Saturday, May 18, by participating in Ypsilanti P.R.I.D.E. Day. These student-athletes joined other groups at Ford Lake to remove litter from the shoreline and help beautify the park.

EMU Golfer Played for Mullingar Scratch Trophy image Eastern Michigan University men's golfer Stuart Grehan tied for sixth place at the Mullingar Scratch Trophy, May 18-19. After 72 holes, Grehan finished with a 288 (72-73-68-75).

Rowers Tie for Fifth at Colonial Athletic Association Championships image The EMU women's rowing team posted a pair of fifth place finishes from the Varsity Fours and Second Varsity Eights crews and finished with a tie for fifth place with the University of Delaware at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships Sunday, May 19, at Sandy Run Regional Park.

Baseball Falls to Toledo, Will Miss Out on MAC Tournament image The EMU baseball team's season came to a close Saturday afternoon, May 18, as the Eagles dropped, 6-5, to the University of Toledo, in the rubber match of the series at Oestrike Stadium. With the loss combined with wins by Bowling Green State University and Central Michigan University means the Eagles will miss out on the conference tournament for the first time since 2005.

Eagles Soar Past Rockets, 10-4, as Battistelli Picks Up the Win image The Eastern Michigan University baseball team kept its Mid-American Conference Tournament hopes in its own hands with a 10-4 victory over the University of Toledo, May 17, at Oestrike Stadium. The Eagles evened the series and can now clinch a MAC Tournament berth with a victory in the rubber match Saturday, May 18.

EMU Baseball Moves Saturday Start Time to 1 p.m. image EMU Head Baseball Coach Jay Alexander announced that the start time of Saturday's game against the University of Toledo has been moved up two hours. Originally scheduled for 3 p.m., the May 18 senior day tilt will now begin at 1 p.m.

Briana Emig Earns Academic All-District Accolades image EMU swimming and diving's Briana Emig was named to the Capital One Academic All-District Women's At-Large First Team in District Five by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), May 17. The fifth district is the geographical region of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio from which 11 players were chosen for this award.
