Eastern Michigan senior guard Darrell Lampley was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week on Monday.

Lampley averaged 17.3 points in three games last week. The Eagles lost 66-49 at Texas Southern, beat Arkansas-Little Rock 62-51 at home and won 66-64 at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

Lampley, a Linden, N.J. native, made 17-of-37 (45.9 percent) of his shots, including 10-of-19 (52.6 percent) from 3-point range. He also had 14 assists and four steals while averaging 33.7 minutes during the three games.
