By AnnArbor.com Staff

Down 13-12 in the fifth and deciding set against Mid American Conference rivals Cetral Michigan the Eastern Michigan women's volleyball team took a timeout to refocus and regroup.

Whatever it is that head coach Kim Berrington said to her team at Eastern's Finch Fieldhouse worked, as the Eagles rallied to score the match's final three points to capture the victory.

The win kept the Eagles (22-6, 9-2 MAC) within striking distance of MAC West Division leaders Northern Illinois, which has a 9-1 conference record.

Leading the way for Eastern on the night were Rachel Iaquaniello and Jenn Swartz who had 13 and 11 kills respectively. (EMUEagles.com Story)
