EMU women's basketball 4-0 after win at Niagara; Michigan wrestling falls to No. 14 Lehigh

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. - The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team improved to 4-0 on the season with an 83-68 win over Niagara University on Sunday.

According the EMUEagles.com, the Eagles used an 11-0 run late in the first half to turn a close game into a 45-33 halftime lead. Cassie Schrock led the Eagles with 14 points and team-highs of 11 assists and seven rebounds.

Sophomore guard Tavelyn James scored a team-high 19 points, on 8-of-17 shooting, for Eastern Michigan.

WRESTLING Lehigh 21, Michigan 9: The No. 24-ranked Wolverines started the dual-meet season with a loss, falling to No. 14 Lehigh at Cliff Keen Arena. Michigan got wins from Zac Stevens (133 pounds), Aaron Hynes (165) and Anthony Biondo (197).
