Former Michigan basketball player Carmen Reynolds, left, recently signed with a professional team in Portugal.

According to Reynolds' agent, Matthew C. Krejci, Reynolds will fly to the Portuguese island of Maderia to join the team next week.

“I am really looking forward to playing for CAB Madeira, and I am thrilled my American teammate is fellow Ohioan, Justine Raterman. I know she is a great player and I am excited to work with her and the rest of my new teammates towards winning a championship,” said Reynolds in a press release.

Reynolds, a 2012 Michigan graduate, averaged 9.8 points over her four-year career at Michigan. She averaged 13.1 and 10.8 points during her sophomore and junior seasons, respectively. She finished her career at Michigan as the all-time leader in 3-point baskets made and 3-point field goal percentage

Very cool. I enjoyed watching Carmen play here at Michigan, and I hope she'll have a great career in Europe.
